As an IT guy, Lincoln O'Neill is assigned to monitoring company emails. The whole company knows emails are being monitored, but two girls, Beth Fremont and Jennifer Scribner-Snyder, don't take it seriously. They send hilarious and personal emails back and forth, every one of which is Lincoln is privy to. Lincoln gradually realizes he is falling for Beth because of the emails, and he hasn't even met her yet.
