With the end of the year coming up fast, I realize that I need to read 7 more books before then end of the year for my Goodreads challenge. The problem is someone needs to pry "S." out of my fingers because I know it's going to be a long read and that is all I really want to do. HOWEVER, I did not forget about Book Club. :)
I am usually uninspired when it comes to holiday themed books (and movies for that matter) because by the time Christmas comes around I have had my fill of green and red (I blame store displays putting Christmas decorations up on November 1st). Fortunately that irritation goes away just about a week before the holiday (because: presents).
When I chose this month's selections, I tried to keep the aversion to cheesy Christmas out of my decision the best that I could. Let me know what you think and I promise not to be a Grinch when I do my review.
