"The thing with kids is, if they want to grab for the gold ring, you have to let them do it, and not say anything. If they fall off, they fall off, but it is bad to say anything to them.” ― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher In The Rye

BOOK CLUB: December Holiday Reveal

December 13, 2015 Heather Ratliff

It's finally the last month of the year, and my holiday excitement is barely contained now that we have 12 days until Christmas.  I'm finishing up my sewing projects, my cat has worn 4 different Christmas hats, and I'm compiling all of my New Year's Resolutions.  I'm also facing the question of "Can I read 7 books before December 31st to complete my Goodreads Challenge?" (The answer is, it'll be a Christmas Miracle! HA!).

Let It Snow by John Green plus.jpg

For our last book of the year, you voted for Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances by John Green (Paper Towns, The Fault in our Stars), Maureen Johnson (The Name of the Star), and Lauren Myracle (The Internet Girls series.)  I think this will be a quick, easy read that will really get you into the spirit of the season (and maybe you'll find yourself under the mistletoe with that hottie you've been crushing on).

I hope you all enjoy your holiday!  Happy reading!

Disclosure: I do receive compensation for the links provided, but it does not influence my reviews, or the books I choose to read.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hey all. We don't mean to be the little rescue that cries wolf but we are dead in the water today. We've only gotten about $400 in for today's auction. Yikes.

Fortunately it's not a super crazy day but there are still about 10 lives depending on
